Ernie serves as the Vice President and Director of Business Information and has been with the EDPA since 2000. In this role, Ernie oversees business intelligence and data analytics, proposal preparation, and community assistance. Ernie came to the EDPA by way of Baltimore, where he was an Associate Research Manager at the Maryland Communications Center, and Mississippi with his role as Coordinator of Continuing Education at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Despite growing up in Lanett, AL near Auburn, he is an avid Crimson Tide fan after receiving his B.A. in History from the University of Alabama. He later earned his Masters in Economic Development from the University of Southern Mississippi. Additionally, Ernie is a Certified Economic Developer through the International Economic Development Council and a BRE Consultant through Business Retention and Expansion International.
On the weekends, you can find Ernie grilling for Alabama gameday or enjoying the magnificent Alabama outdoors.
