EDPA supports Alabama’s economic development effort by focusing on business attraction and expansion, innovation and entrepreneurship, talent attraction and retention, business intelligence and research, and policy.

Our Structure

EDPA is a private, non-profit organization supported by more than 60 Corporate Partners. EDPA is governed by a board of directors comprised of the state’s top business leaders committed to the economic growth of Alabama.

This industrial site preparedness program was created in order to make the state more competitive for companies considering Alabama as a site.

FuelAL

A statewide talent retention and attraction initiative that connects college students to Alabama’s industries, communities, and career opportunities through immersive, experience-driven programming.

ALEX

An 800 square foot mobile career expo that travels across the state of Alabama and beyond to connect career seekers to opportunities in Alabama AND showcase why it’s a great place to live, work and play

HBCU Innovation Internship

A program that connects students from Alabama’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities to paid, innovation-focused internships with tech-driven startups, incubators and accelerators across the state—offering hands-on experience, mentorship, and a direct pathway into Alabama’s growing innovation economy.

AL Intel

Alabama’s first dedicated business research hub, AL Intel uncovers hidden opportunities, decodes complex relationships and crafts insights to shape the future.
