Joyia Davis
Program Manager, Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Joyia Davis serves as the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program Manager at the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama, where she manages flagship initiatives including Alabama Launchpad. Drawing from her background in education and community engagement, Joyia brings a unique perspective to cultivating Alabama’s innovation ecosystem.
Previously, Joyia served as Program Director for the Judge Frank M. Johnson, Jr. Institute and Education Outreach Coordinator at the Alabama Museum of Natural History, where she designed strategic programs, built statewide partnerships, and managed initiatives that engaged thousands annually. Her experience developing educational programming and fostering community connections now informs her work supporting entrepreneurs, investors, and strategic partners across the state.
Joyia holds an M.A.T. from George Washington University and a B.A. in Anthropology from The University of Alabama. She previously served on the Vulcan Park Foundation Junior Leadership Board and the Environmental Education Association of Alabama Board.
